• End-to-end management of material needs for project(s) ranging from $5K - $60MM Total Installed Costs (TIC). Activities include material requisition planning, materials take off coordination, materials readiness reporting and materials status visibility via work packaging best practices.
• End-to-end material data flow touchpoints and gaps by interacting with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Designers, Construction Managers and Project Schedulers.
• Secure material deliveries to the field sites at the right time. Must closely work with Construction Managers, Project Engineers, Engineering Discipline Leads, and Project Controls to provide materials readiness data knowledge during reviews and participates in Project Reviews as applicable.
• Identify improvement opportunities within the material management work process and leads the development and implementation of solutions to address opportunities.
• Reduce construction delays/inefficiencies, help maintain overall project schedule, reduce the need to re-order “lost” materials and help enable the full execution of the construction planning process on all projects.
• Develop detailed material take offs utilizing P&ID’s, Isometric Drawings, and other Engineering Deliverables. Firm understanding of technical specifications and material types.
• Demonstrate a passion for driving outstanding Health, Safety & environmental (HSE) performance and developing a zero-incident culture
• Pro-actively develop working relationships, rapport and trust with leaders, employees and internal customers.
• Plan, develop and implement policies, procedures, required metrics, goals and objectives in line with and in support of company policies and objectives.
• Ability to multi-task multiple categories & projects, coordinate strategies/activities across multiple business functions.
• Degree qualified or relevant experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in material management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence and communicate at all layers of the business.
• Able to work flexible and demanding schedules in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Integrated Material life cycle workflow - proper planning, coordination, monitoring, and balancing of goods/materials for a project with construction driven mindset.
• Experience with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) practice and methods.
• Energy Industry experience preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude related to process piping.
• Proficient with material management software applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Occasionally lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds

Remote and onsite work. Visits to job sites may be required on occasion as needed.
