Core Job Responsibilities

• Cultivate business and project opportunities, providing reporting and assessment to management of potential future projects.

• Staying abreast of customer activities and initiatives and building customer database utilizing H+M’s CRM.

• Serve as a key ambassador for H+M data centers, representing the brand at industry events and trade shows.

• Foster client relations through various business development activities including cold calls, emails, networking events, and ongoing relationship building.

• Represent H+M at trade shows and industry expos to generate actionable leads and business intelligence.

• Conduct meetings between potential customers and H+M project teams, providing introductory information about the H+M business model and unique service offerings.

• Facilitate presentations to educate customers on technical topics as well as proprietary H+M technology and system developments with the intent to secure future projects, promote H+M, and influence decision makers.  

• Research companies and industry trends to determine the best opportunities for H+M projects.

• Develop long-term professional relationships with new clients.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor as needed.

Essential Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful professional Data Center sales

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Knowledge of software applications, such as Microsoft Office suite.

• Able to multi-task and work under time pressure.

• Ability to work with others to achieve job goals

Physical Requirements

• Occasionally lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds

• Sit for long periods of time

• Occasionally stoop, kneel or crouch

• Use hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects

Working conditions encountered in this job include those found in a typical office setting as well as an indoor/outdoor manufacturing setting which includes exposure to outside weather conditions, work at elevated heights, climbing of stairs and ladders, and physical manipulation of tools and mechanical equipment. This job demands the use of typical manufacturing personal protective equipment as well as advanced protective equipment as needed.
